Dimensions[]
Players can fit through spaces that are no smaller than two blocks wide (0.5 m). Walking upright requires a ceiling at least 7 blocks tall (1.75 m). Crouching is possible with a space at least 3 blocks tall (0.75 m).
Speed[]
- Walking: 2.6 m/s
- Swimming: 4.5 m/s
- Crouching: 4.7 m/s
- Fast swimming: 4.7 m/s
- Sprinting: 7.5 m/s
- Sprinting+jumping ("bunnyhopping"): 9.0 m/s.
Slopes[]
A player can walk up a slope of up to 45 degrees. A slope of 63 degrees (e.g. made with 2:1 blocks going steeply upward) will cause a player to slide down when not moving, but isn't particularly difficult to climb with a combination of forward sprinting and jumping. A slope of 76 degrees (e.g. made with 4:1 blocks going steeply upward) is very difficult to climb but can be achieved with repeated mashing of the jump key.
Jumping[]
A player can jump up a height of 5 blocks (1.25 meters). If sprinting, jumping, and then crouching in mid-air, the player can jump up 6 blocks (1.5 meters).
Falling[]
A player will take damage if falling onto a hard surface more than 7 meters below them. Damage increases with falls from greater heights.
